Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ghidialau's Horea Moșanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Albert Achifoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Spurs defense, Horea Moșanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Rotariu. The Spurs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Rotariu should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Horea Moșanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ghidialau's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Moșanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Emanuel Mălin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Spurs's Nechifor Rotariu. Nechifor Rotariu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codruț Bosânceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Pacuraru in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Horea Moșanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Pandele, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Nechifor Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristide Pandele's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute, Gelu Ştirbu had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Moise Gheție fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spurs's protests and gave Moise Gheție a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Spurs getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Moise Gheție hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Aristide Pandele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Emanuel Mălin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Mălin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Ghidialau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mălin to maneuver through the defense. If Vali Pascaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristide Pandele's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The Ghidialau fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Ghidialau's Aristide Pandele looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nechifor Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Pandele in the 46th minute of the match. The Spurs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ghidialau were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Pacuraru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nechifor Rotariu was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Aristide Pandele capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aristide Pandele really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Emanuel Mălin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nechifor Rotariu having to make a save. Aristide Pandele came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nechifor Rotariu could save by the left post. If Aristide Pandele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Spurs's goalkeeper Nechifor Rotariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Pandele. Aristide Pandele might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nechifor Rotariu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Pandele ran back to his position shaking his head. Nechifor Rotariu made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Aristide Pandele sent off a good shot on target. Aristide Pandele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nechifor Rotariu made a huge save. Emanuel Mălin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Nechifor Rotariu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Spurs's goalkeeper Nechifor Rotariu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aristide Pandele. Aristide Pandele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emanuel Mălin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ghidialau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spurs.
