Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Constantin Chiose started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sever Arapașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Chiose in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Budele FCM booed when Peretu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Ostoici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Silviu Achim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Silviu Achim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Peretu got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Lipoveanu. After 19 minutes of play, Budele FCM's Robert Manta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petrică Marinescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silviu Achim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Marinescu having to interfere. Robert Manta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Petrică Marinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Peretu's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Achim came free, but Petrică Marinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Lucrețiu Pușcașu suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Silviu Achim fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Budele FCM's protests and gave Silviu Achim a yellow card for diving instead. Silviu Achim kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Robert Manta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Silviu Achim made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nistor Dobrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peretu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Dobrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sever Arapașu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cătălin Flamaropol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sever Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Peretu got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Dobrescu. If Robert Manta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Marinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Achim in the 67th minute of play. Robert Manta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Marinescu having to interfere. Silviu Achim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petrică Marinescu having to make a save. Robert Manta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Flamaropol in the 80th minute of play forced Budele FCM's goalkeeper Sever Arapașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Achim in the 83rd minute of play forced Peretu's goalkeeper Petrică Marinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Peretu's Petrică Marinescu got control of the ball when Robert Manta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Marinescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silviu Achim's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Achim in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petrică Marinescu saved Peretu from getting behind. After 91 played minutes Budele FCM got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Breazu. Budele FCM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
