Marciano Beltran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 played minutes Vasiiesti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Liviu. The supporters of Vasiiesti UFC booed when Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Buznea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Moscu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Mușat, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Marciano Beltran in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Panciu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute, Vasiiesti UFC's Laurenz Van Langhendoncx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Laurenz Van Langhendoncx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vasiiesti UFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Laurenz Van Langhendoncx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 25 minutes into the match, Vasiiesti UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Muraru came free, but Isac Moscu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Cristian Poplăcan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Albert Panciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Beltran in the 28th minute. Ovidiu Urdeş might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Panciu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidiu Urdeş ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Vasiiesti UFC's Ovidiu Urdeş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Panciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Paul Honcioiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasiiesti UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Honcioiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Panciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Beltran in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Albert Panciu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sebastian Gorgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidiu Urdeş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Panciu having to make a save. Vasiiesti UFC's Marciano Beltran got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Beltran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasiiesti UFC's Ovidiu Urdeş got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steaua Bucuresti's Albert Panciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Beltran in the 55th minute of play. Albert Panciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Beltran went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 62 minutes, Marciano Beltran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasiiesti UFC and the Steaua Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marciano Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ovidiu Urdeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Albert Panciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Marciano Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Panciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 80 minutes into the game, Matei Zăvoianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Albert Panciu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Beltran in the 85th minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti's goalkeeper Albert Panciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Moromete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Albert Panciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Vasiiesti UFC's Matei Zăvoianu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Panciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vasiiesti UFC fully deserved thier win.
