Herbert Dalman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gică Păltineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Cosariu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Cirstovani got a freekick which was hit by Remus Tache. Eduard Onete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gică Păltineanu made a huge save. Cirstovani's Gică Păltineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Cosariu in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Cosariu in the 26th minute of play forced Cirstovani's goalkeeper Gică Păltineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Eduard Onete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gică Păltineanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32ndth minute of the game Herbert Dalman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC EMAR's Olimpiu Curta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Cirstovani's goalkeeper Gică Păltineanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Onete. With an all-out effort, FC EMAR's Gică Păltineanu threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mugur Cosariu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Mugur Cosariu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC EMAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Cosariu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Păltineanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Curta made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Zenon Setara sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Florean made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marian Grigoriu. If Herbert Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Mugur Cosariu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cirstovani's Gică Păltineanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Cosariu in the 63rd minute of play forced Cirstovani's goalkeeper Gică Păltineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC EMAR's goalkeeper Olimpiu Curta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, FC EMAR's Eduard Onete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gică Păltineanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gică Păltineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Onete in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of FC EMAR booed when Cirstovani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Giurgiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Eduard Onete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Păltineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Mugur Cosariu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gică Păltineanu. Cirstovani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mugur Cosariu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Eric Frumuzache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirstovani's Gică Păltineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduard Onete in the 87th minute of play. Zenon Setara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC EMAR fully deserved thier win.
