Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tatarani CF's Eric Balc in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Liviu Moldovan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sacaseni through an amazing save. Sacaseni's Liviu Moldovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Balc in the 20th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Cezar Dragomiroiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Aaxiniei. Tatarani CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezar Dragomiroiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Sacaseni booed when Tatarani CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Negru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liviu Moldovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Balc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Urseanu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
