Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Pietrele CF's Răzvan Pavalescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Pietrele CF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marcel Giosu hit a great ball. Pietrele CF's Pavel Purcărete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Balc in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Pietrele CF's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Balc came free, but Pavel Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iulian Dinu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Purcărete having to interfere. The supporters of Tatarani CF booed when Pietrele CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Mardarie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Purcărete came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Tatarani CF's Eric Balc. But to his dismay, Eric Balc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eric Balc scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Purcărete, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Leonard Costescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grigore Cârțan got free with Mugur Aaxiniei in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pietrele CF's Pavel Purcărete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Balc in the 29th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Pietrele CF got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Mardarie. 33 minutes into the match, Tatarani CF's Leonard Costescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 36 minutes, Eric Balc made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pietrele CF's Pavel Purcărete tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavel Purcărete came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Tatarani CF's Claudiu Măcrinici. But to his dismay, Claudiu Măcrinici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Pietrele CF's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Măcrinici came free, but Pavel Purcărete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Claudiu Măcrinici got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Tatarani CF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Balc was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Măcrinici got free with Pavel Purcărete in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudiu Măcrinici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Purcărete having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pietrele CF defense, Nicu Negru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Purcărete. The Pietrele CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Purcărete should have stopped the shot. Claudiu Măcrinici succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 62nd playminute. Mugur Aaxiniei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Pavalescu in the 69th minute of play. Eric Balc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Claudiu Măcrinici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatarani CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Măcrinici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Purcărete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nicu Negru fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tatarani CF's protests and gave Nicu Negru a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Tatarani CF got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Negru. Claudiu Măcrinici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebiu Codru charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebiu Codru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Pietrele CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Codru to maneuver through the defense. Pavel Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Măcrinici in the 89th minute of play. Tatarani CF's Claudiu Măcrinici was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Pietrele CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tatarani CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
