Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teodor Fenici made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by STR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iurie Plopan was slow to take the kick. During this time Orezu's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Costescu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to STR getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aurelian Costescu hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Teodor Fenici reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olimpiu Voinea. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 10th minute, Claudiu Dulfu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, STR's goalkeeper Olimpiu Voinea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandru Ţugui. Aurelian Costescu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Teodor Fenici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Voinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play STR's Aurelian Costescu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aurelian Costescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Teodor Fenici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. STR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Călin Arvinte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Lupașcu having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Călin Arvinte made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, STR's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Ţugui came free, but Olimpiu Voinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Fenici in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Voinea saved STR from getting behind. Olimpiu Voinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Ţugui in the 96th minute of the match. Orezu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of STR for a fine match.
