Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurel Deleanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexandru Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Bogătan having to interfere. Petruț Feteanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Ovidiu Lupașcu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ovidiu Lupașcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petruț Feteanu in the 16th minute. If Alexandru Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandru Ţugui might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionuț Bogătan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandru Ţugui ran back to his position shaking his head. Mircea Mandoiu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. If Horia Baican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Frunzisul CS's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Ţugui came free, but Ionuț Bogătan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Frunzisul CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Dulfu to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Alexandru Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Bogătan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexandru Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandru Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Bogătan having to interfere. Alexandru Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Fenici was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Vasile Ghiță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orezu's Ovidiu Lupașcu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Teodor Fenici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orezu's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodor Fenici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionuț Bogătan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandru Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Bogătan having to interfere. Ovidiu Lupașcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Feteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Frunzisul CS's zone, Alexandru Ţugui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Bogătan came out of the goal and Alexandru Ţugui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Orezu's Denis Gogu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ionuț Bogătan came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orezu's Teodor Fenici. But to his dismay, Teodor Fenici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Frunzisul CS's Ionuț Bogătan got control of the ball when Alexandru Ţugui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexandru Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orezu's Ovidiu Lupașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petruț Feteanu in the 83rd minute of play. Teodor Fenicis short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Ionuț Bogătan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the game, Aurel Buculeasa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frunzisul CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orezu the free kick. In the 89th minute, Iurie Plopan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Frunzisul CS's Ionuț Bogătan didn't even have to move. Teodor Fenici had several of the Frunzisul CS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 90 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Ionuț Bogătan as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Teodor Fenici came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Orezu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Fenici couldn't finish the play. The Frunzisul CS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Orezu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
