Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Orezu's Teodor Fenici started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steaua Libera's goalkeeper Dan Bota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Petre Crișan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Lupașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Lupașcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Zub in the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Orezu got a freekick which was hit by Vali Şuteu. A collision led to Orezu getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Teodor Fenici hit a great ball. After 14th play minutes Petre Crișan shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ovidiu Lupașcu and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 17th minute, Emilian Mihoc made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Lupașcu. Orezu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Ulici in the 20th minute of play forced Orezu's goalkeeper Ovidiu Lupașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Petre Crișan made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Lupașcu. Orezu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Orezu's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Mihoc came free, but Ovidiu Lupașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Petre Crișan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidiu Lupașcu. The goal made the score 0-6. When Edgar Schiau fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steaua Libera's protests and gave Edgar Schiau a yellow card for diving instead. Ovidiu Lupașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Mihoc in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Steaua Libera booed when Orezu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Gogu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Traian Zub in the 86th minute really tested Ovidiu Lupașcu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teodor Fenici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Bota having to interfere. Steaua Libera played a much better game than Orezu and deserved their victory. The Orezu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
