Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Corneliu Geambașu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Palos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Chiru to maneuver through the defense. Bundorf CSS's Manole Ionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Geambașu in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Dumitru Bocu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iurie Blaj. Palos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Bocu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Geambașu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manole Ionescu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Palos's Corneliu Geambașu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manole Ionescu. Manole Ionescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Eric Mustață got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bundorf CSS's Manole Ionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Geambașu in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Eric Mustață left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Corneliu Geambașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Mustață fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Ionescu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorel Durbacă during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dorel Durbacă kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Mustață got free with Manole Ionescu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorel Petre made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Corneliu Geambașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bundorf CSS's Manole Ionescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Corneliu Geambașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marin Crainic took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manole Ionescu. Bundorf CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Palos's Corneliu Geambașu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Ionescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 65 minutes into the match, Dumitru Bocu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iurie Blaj. Palos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dumitru Bocu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 72nd minute Eric Mustață shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Ionescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 73rd minute of the match Dorel Durbacă completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dorel Durbacă a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Palos booed when Bundorf CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Durbacă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Corneliu Geambașu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Ionescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. 86 minutes into the match, Bundorf CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Geambașu came free, but Manole Ionescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Geambașu in the 89th minute of play forced Bundorf CSS's goalkeeper Manole Ionescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bundorf CSS booed when Palos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Chiru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bundorf CSS's Manole Ionescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Mustață in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Bundorf CSS getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Ion Bărnuțiu hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match Marin Crainic shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manole Ionescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Palos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
