It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 10th minute, but Iurie Blaj got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Palos hanging dry this time. After a rather tough play, Palos's Ion Chiru got a free kick in the 11th minute. Iurie Blaj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olimpiu Maghiar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The goalkeeper, Iurie Blaj, was totally fooled by F.C.Albinutza's Ionel Creteanu, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 22 played minutes Palos got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Tomulescu. With a little luck, Palos's Iurie Blaj got control of the ball when Olimpiu Maghiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest Teodoroiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Geambașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Teodoroiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Mustață was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Palos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Corneliu Geambașu hit a great ball. Marin Crainic lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of Palos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for F.C.Albinutza. Ionel Creteanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iurie Blaj. 2-2. Iurie Blaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Ogică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Maghiar in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iurie Blaj saved Palos from getting behind. Iurie Blaj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Ogică's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Emanuel Vanghelie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Olimpiu Maghiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iurie Blaj was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olimpiu Maghiar in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iurie Blaj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iurie Blaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Maghiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Mihai Tomulescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernest Teodoroiu. Mihai Tomulescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Emanuel Vanghelie made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.C.Albinutza's Petru Cojocaru. 98 minutes into the game, Costin Ogică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.Albinutza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palos the free kick. Costin Ogică hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The F.C.Albinutza supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palos's performance. The match ended with a win for Palos.
