After some careless play in the NERVO Fire defense, Toader Andriescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petru Onaca. The NERVO Fire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petru Onaca should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Salgó in the 9th minute of play forced GLADIATORII's goalkeeper Iurie Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes GLADIATORII got a freekick which was hit by Toader Andriescu. 14 minutes into the game, Miklós Salgó recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iurie Finteșteanu. Miklós Salgó showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. NERVO Fire's Petru Onaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Cismaș in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Stelian charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Stelian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GLADIATORII's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miklós Salgó 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Iurie Finteșteanu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Matei Ardelean sent off a good shot on target. Iurie Finteșteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Salgó, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. NERVO Fire were furious when Tiberiu Mihăilă was red carded, 42 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in NERVO Fire fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustin Cismaș was the one to do the kick off. Petru Onaca made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Toader Andriescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Villanueva in the 56th minute of play forced GLADIATORII's goalkeeper Iurie Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iurie Finteșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Salgó in the 57th minute of the match. Iurie Finteșteanu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by NERVO Fire's Miklós Salgó. But to his dismay, Miklós Salgó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. GLADIATORII's Iurie Finteșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Cobâlcescu in the 64th minute of play. Petru Onaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Cismaș in the 67th minute of the match. Toader Andriescu scored 4-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petru Onaca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Adolfo Villanueva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iurie Finteșteanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. GLADIATORII's Iurie Finteșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Villanueva in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, GLADIATORII's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Villanueva came free, but Iurie Finteșteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Villanueva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Iustin Cismaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Onaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Basarab Tarcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIATORII's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Tarcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petru Onaca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NERVO Fire's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
