Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the last second Nicu Dragota throw himself and got hold of the ball when Răzvan Lobonț in the 2ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nicu Dragota was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Răzvan Lobonț capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Răzvan Lobonț really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Emilian Țepelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cetatele's Liviu Stroia in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goala CSS's goalie prevented a goal. If Remus Neicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remus Neicu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Nicu Dragota skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Fetanu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iosif Encuțoiu saved Goala CSS from getting behind. Răzvan Lobonț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Dragota having to interfere. When Răzvan Lobonț in the 23rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Nicu Dragota kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Leonard Fetanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Iosif Encuțoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Leonard Fetanu sped through Goala CSS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iosif Encuțoiu. Dinu Cămărășescu's late challenge caught a Goala CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Cămărășescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cetatele's Dinu Cămărășescu got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Goala CSS's Răzvan Lobonț dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Remus Neicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nicu Dragota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Neicu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 47th minute shot 4-1 at rihgt post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Răzvan Lobonț made the kick off in the second half. Liviu Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Encuțoiu having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cetatele's Iosif Encuțoiu threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Liviu Stroia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
