Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sever Minculescu started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Fizis's Adam Fetanu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 5 minutes, Sever Minculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fizis and the Crairit players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavian Muraru kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Sorin Ghimiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Fetanu in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, one of Fizis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fizis. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Crairit's Dragoş Cernea got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Denis Firea. After a rather tough play, Fizis's Mircea Zmărăndescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Denis Firea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Muraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorin Ghimiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Ciorbea in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Emilian Ciorbea made a precise shot to the right of Sorin Ghimiș. Crairit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Anton Tiberian in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Denis Firea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anton Tiberian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Denis Firea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Fetanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Ghimiș having to interfere. In the 61st minute Mădălin Gaciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Firea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Fizis's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Muraru came free, but Denis Firea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Firea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Muraru in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Fizis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Zmărăndescu to maneuver through the defense. Denis Firea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Muraru in the 81st minute of play. Fizis's Adam Fetanu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorin Ghimiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Fetanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Fizis were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
