Bucecea AFC's Traian Ploieșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Şneapotă in the 4th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Iosif Pipirig in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bucecea AFC's Tiberiu Leahu. 6 minutes into the match, Belcho Prelkov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horaţiu Cumpanașu, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Drăgoi in the 11th minute of play forced Bucecea AFC's goalkeeper Traian Ploieșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Red Devils's Horaţiu Cumpanașu got control of the ball when Belcho Prelkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Traian Ploieșteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Drăgoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Traian Ploieșteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Arsene in the 33rd minute of the match. Florin Drăgoi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Traian Ploieșteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Drăgoi in the 46th minute of play forced Bucecea AFC's goalkeeper Traian Ploieșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belcho Prelkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Traian Ploieșteanu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Iordache Arsene sent off a good shot on target. Bucecea AFC's Traian Ploieșteanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bucecea AFC from getting a goal against them. Florin Drăgoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Traian Ploieșteanu made a huge save. Horaţiu Cumpanașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belcho Prelkov in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Aurel Şneapotă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Traian Ploieșteanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Drăgoi in the 64th minute of play forced Bucecea AFC's goalkeeper Traian Ploieșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belcho Prelkov scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horaţiu Cumpanașu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Bucecea AFC defense, Florin Drăgoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Traian Ploieșteanu. The Bucecea AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Traian Ploieșteanu should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute of the game Doru Vlăsiu made a throw-in which Iordache Arsene played forward. After 87 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Florin Drăgoi. Traian Ploieșteanu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils's Florin Drăgoi. But to his dismay, Florin Drăgoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Red Devils booed when Bucecea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Encea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Băieșu. Despite being the better team, Red Devils failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
