Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dichiseni's Marian Pordea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 4 in the game by Cezar Chiriță from a close distance when the talented Mihai Brânzaru managed to make a qualified save. Dichiseni's players were relieved. In the 6th match minute, Dichiseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Udrişte to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezar Chiriță got free with Mihai Brânzaru in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ROMANESTI's Cezar Chiriță slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihai Brânzaru. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. FC ROMANESTI's Francisc Bugariu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mihai Brânzaru but with some difficulty. After 33 played minutes Dichiseni got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Caranică. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Șişman in the 34th minute of play forced Dichiseni's goalkeeper Mihai Brânzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Brânzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Chiriță in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grigore Șişman in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Brânzaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot by Victor Podgoreanu from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Mihai Brânzaru's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Gelu Caranică fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dichiseni's protests and gave Gelu Caranică a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dichiseni's Gelu Caranică got a free kick in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Cezar Chiriță took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mihai Brânzaru to make any attempt to save it. When Edgar Iuga came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC ROMANESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Iuga couldn't finish the play.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezar Chiriță in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Brânzaru saved Dichiseni from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Grigore Șişman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezar Chiriță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Brânzaru having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Victor Podgoreanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihai Brânzaru skillfully saved the ball. Mihai Brânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Chiriță, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the FC ROMANESTI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
