Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Nicu Bărăian made the kick off and thus started the match. If Leonard Isăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antocenii CS's Valeriu Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Lopatnicu in the 14th minute of play. Nicu Bărăian might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeriu Voican. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicu Bărăian ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 minutes of play, Pui AS's Cristian Vâlcu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriu Voican was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antocenii CS's Valeriu Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Bărăian in the 27th minute of play. Manuel Țepelea struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Gică Chevereșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antocenii CS. After 38 played minutes Pui AS got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Vâlcu. Nicu Bărăian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valeriu Voican read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Isăilă was the one to do the kick off. Iulian Lopatnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicu Bărăian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Valeriu Voican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Țepelea in the 61st minute of play forced Pui AS's goalkeeper Gică Chevereșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Antocenii CS's goalkeeper Valeriu Voican had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Lopatnicu. After a defensive mix-up in Antocenii CS's zone, Cristian Vâlcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valeriu Voican came out of the goal and Cristian Vâlcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gică Chevereșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Isăilă in the 76th minute of the match. Valeriu Voican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicu Bărăian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iulian Lopatnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valeriu Voican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Pui AS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Antocenii CS.
