Papolc's Șerban Doicaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Lupulescu in the 17th minute of play. Iustin Hulubei struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Șerban Doicaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Husasau. Șerban Doicaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Lupulescu's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Lupulescu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Doicaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Papolc's Șerban Doicaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Hulubei in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Husasau got a freekick which was hit by Costel Lupulescu. In the 33rd minute of the match, Gică Dragu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Moise Macri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Iustin Hulubei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Șerban Doicaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Lupulescu in the 38th minute of play forced Papolc's goalkeeper Șerban Doicaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gică Dragu to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Husasau's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Dragu came free, but Moise Macri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Pelin in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moise Macri saved Husasau from getting behind. Costel Lupulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Doicaru having to interfere. In the 64th minute Costel Lupulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Doicaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iustin Hulubei kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Iustin Hulubei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Doicaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A hard shot 74 in the game by Iustin Hulubei from a close distance when the talented Șerban Doicaru managed to make a qualified save. Papolc's players were relieved. Husasau's Iustin Hulubei got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Husasau getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Costel Lupulescu hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Gică Dragu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moise Macri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Costel Lupulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Doicaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Husasau were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
