Paul Bogătan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Dulau got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Ipate. In the 12th minute of the match, Iustin Piţurcă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sever Iorgovan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulesti FCM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Marius Gherghe scored to the left of an out of position Sever Iorgovan, making the score, 1-0. Dorin Enișteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Tonegaru in the 19th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Iustin Piţurcă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dulau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Piţurcă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorin Enișteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Bogătan in the 25th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ulesti FCM's Paul Bogătan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorin Enișteanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dorin Enișteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Tonegaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Gherghe kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Niculae Tonegaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marius Gherghe was the one to do the kick off. Augustin Bălașa charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Bălașa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 played minutes Ulesti FCM got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Bălașa. If Paul Bogătan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Iorgovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Piţurcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dorin Enișteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Tonegaru in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes of play, Ulesti FCM's Paul Bogătan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorin Enișteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dulau's Iustin Piţurcă managed to work through Ulesti FCM's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Iustin Piţurcă dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Marius Gherghe took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Iorgovan. Sever Iorgovan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Sever Iorgovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Gherghe's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Cosmin Pelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Iustin Piţurcă made a precise shot to the right of Sever Iorgovan. Ulesti FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Iustin Piţurcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Iorgovan having to interfere. Niculae Tonegaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dorin Enișteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Iustin Piţurcă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sever Iorgovan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Gherghe in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sever Iorgovan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dulau's Iustin Piţurcă got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
