Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Bogătan in the 7th minute of play forced Satucul CSM's goalkeeper Albert Rucăreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Niculae Tonegaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albert Rucăreanu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Albert Rucăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Tonegaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Satucul CSM's Mihnea Jucan got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Cristian Ghionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Satucul CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Ghionescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Satucul CSM's Cătălin Teodor in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ulesti FCM's goalie prevented a goal. Sever Iorgovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Ghionescu in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Paul Bogătan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albert Rucăreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Cătălin Teodor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sever Iorgovan, 1-1. When Octav Iriza fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Satucul CSM's protests and gave Octav Iriza a yellow card for diving instead. Octav Iriza hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Paul Bogătan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Satucul CSM's Albert Rucăreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Dragoş Oțeteleșanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulesti FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Satucul CSM the free kick. The supporters of Satucul CSM booed when Ulesti FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Oțeteleșanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Tonegaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Rucăreanu having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Satucul CSM got a freekick which was hit by Octav Iriza. A collision led to Satucul CSM getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mihnea Jucan hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Ulesti FCM got a corner. Satucul CSM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ioan Corbuț ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ulesti FCM's Ioan Corbuț to fire away a dangerous shot which Albert Rucăreanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Niculae Tonegaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Cătălin Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Satucul CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Satucul CSM's goalkeeper Albert Rucăreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Bogătan. Teodor Muntian charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Muntian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodor Muntian kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Albert Rucăreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Tonegaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paul Bogătan got free with Albert Rucăreanu in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihnea Jucan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Cristian Ghionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Satucul CSM's Cazimir Blăniță got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Ulesti FCM got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Muntian. Cristian Ghionescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paul Bogătan came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ulesti FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Bogătan couldn't finish the play. Teodor Muntian hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Ulesti FCM got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Tonegaru. If Paul Bogătan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Paul Bogătan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 88th minute, Ionică Hrebenciuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ioan Corbuț was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Niculae Tonegaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Albert Rucăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
