Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristinel Marin started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Creangă in the 5th minute of play forced FCSB's goalkeeper Dorin Sticlaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Urdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Prooroci CF got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Creangă. Mihai Creangă hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Gigel Bianu didn't quite understand what happened when in the 16 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 19th minute, Cristinel Marin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prooroci CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristinel Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dorin Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FCSB's Dorin Sticlaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Marin in the 30th minute of play. If Cristinel Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Gârdescu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FCSB's Ferdinand Hagi. But to his dismay, Ferdinand Hagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Hagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Emil Gârdescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Cezar Mălăncioiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Sticlaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Șora in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Hagi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristinel Marin came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Prooroci CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristinel Marin couldn't finish the play. If Stelian Șora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Sticlaru having to interfere. Stelian Șora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dorin Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandru Fința sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FCSB's Gigel Culiță got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Cristinel Marin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Prooroci CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristinel Marin couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Stelian Șora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Sticlaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Prooroci CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Șora to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Prooroci CF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
