In the 3rd minute Claudiu Pușcariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Bucataru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Negreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. George Bivolaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Negreanu in the 11th minute of the match. Zidul CSS's Horaţiu Bucataru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Vergulescu in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Vergulescu in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Bucataru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mihail Semeghin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ionuț Vergulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telesmani's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Vergulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Bucataru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ionuț Vergulescu came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Telesmani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Vergulescu couldn't finish the play. If Claudiu Pușcariu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Nechifor Boltașu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nechifor Sorin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Horaţiu Bucataru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telesmani. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zidul CSS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Bucataru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ilie Mumuleanu hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Victor Negreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Claudiu Costa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Telesmani booed when Zidul CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Dordea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Pușcariu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Bucataru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Mumuleanu during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Telesmani's Ilie Mumuleanu got a free kick in the 76th minute. George Bivolaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Semeghin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ionuț Vergulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Bucataru having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match Telesmani got a corner. Zidul CSS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nechifor Sorin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 85th minute Costin Zorlescu suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. The corner led to Telesmani's Iordache Corlățean getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Zidul CSS booed when Telesmani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordache Corlățean didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Horaţiu Bucataru managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Telesmani's Ionuț Vergulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ionuț Vergulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mihail Semeghin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zidul CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Semeghin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Bivolaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
