In the 45th minute Victor Negreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Varga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Zidul CSS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Zidul CSS's Sandu Varga threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Negreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
