Aristide Perșa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Donose in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Baranestii's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Zâncă came free, but Aristide Perșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niculae Zâncă was the one to do the kick off. Aristide Perșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Zâncă, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cătălin Donose kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Silea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Donose to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Silea booed when Baranestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Enache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristide Perșa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cătălin Donose sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Baranestii getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. When Alin Măgurean fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baranestii's protests and gave Alin Măgurean a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Baranestii's Alin Măgurean got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 79th match minute, Silea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Vintilescu to maneuver through the defense. Matei Cosâmbescu struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mihnea Dragoș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baranestii. A collision led to Silea getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. The Silea players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
