Valeriu Gherghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Ciorănescu in the 4th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Linistea CS defense, Eugen Tecău kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valeriu Gherghe. The Linistea CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valeriu Gherghe should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute of the match, Igor Gendolla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emilian Nicoliță was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Igor Gendolla struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Emilian Nicoliță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linistea CS. A hard shot by Fabian Ghioane from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Emilian Nicoliță's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Valeriu Gherghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Hortopan in the 23rd minute of play. Doru Fenici hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Igor Gendolla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Firu struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Emilian Nicoliță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linistea CS. After a defensive mix-up in Chetani AC's zone, Filip Firu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Nicoliță came out of the goal and Filip Firu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Gendolla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filip Firu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Nicoliță having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Firu to make the kick off. With a little luck, Linistea CS's Valeriu Gherghe got control of the ball when Eugen Tecău tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Moromete got free with Valeriu Gherghe in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Igor Gendolla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chetani AC's goalkeeper Emilian Nicoliță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Firu in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Nicoliță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emilian Nicoliță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Gruia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilian Nicoliță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Gendolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Linistea CS's Valeriu Gherghe got control of the ball when Ştefan Moromete tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Linistea CS's goalkeeper Valeriu Gherghe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Moromete.
