Emilian Nicoliță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Iovulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Nicoliță having to interfere. When Corneliu Hortopan came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chetani AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corneliu Hortopan couldn't finish the play. Niculae Oroian struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Emilian Nicoliță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantis. Nichifor Chirculescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilian Nicoliță. Chetani AC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Hortopan in the 26th minute of play forced Atlantis's goalkeeper Lucian Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Oroian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Chetani AC's Corneliu Hortopan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Udurbac. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 38th minute, Corneliu Hortopan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edgar Olteanu hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Atlantis's zone, Eugen Tecău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Udurbac came out of the goal and Eugen Tecău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucian Udurbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Hortopan in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneliu Hortopan to make the kick off. Aron Claudiescu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Eugen Tecău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Udurbac having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Atlantis got a freekick which was hit by Filip Iovulescu. Corneliu Hortopan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucian Udurbac having to make a save. Filip Iovulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugen Tecău struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lucian Udurbac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chetani AC. Augustin Babeș hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Corneliu Hortopan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Lucian Udurbac was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Iovulescu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Emilian Nicoliță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlantis. Aron Claudiescu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Claudiescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aron Claudiescu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Niculae Oroian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Nicoliță having to interfere. Chetani AC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atlantis for a fine match.
