With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Zăraşcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Mugur Crâșmaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, CFR Cluj's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Pârvuță came free, but Cristinel Zăraşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
