Cristian Pelin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Pelin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pepito Sócrates quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Eliodor Cucerzan fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balitesti's protests and gave Eliodor Cucerzan a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Balitesti got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Cucerzan. 24 minutes into the game, Jebucu FCM's Damazy Tscherner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nichifor Chivu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27th minute, Andrei Maior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nichifor Chivu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Damazy Tscherner kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Pepito Sócrates stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petre Neacșu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Damazy Tscherner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Chivu having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Jebucu FCM got a freekick which was hit by Roelof Janus. With a little luck, Jebucu FCM's Pepito Sócrates got control of the ball when Emanuel Milcoveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pepito Sócrates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Neacșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Andrei Maior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 56 played minutes Jebucu FCM got a freekick which was hit by Mark Kras. After 65 played minutes Jebucu FCM got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Ghiciușca. In the 68th minute, Damazy Tscherner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jebucu FCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Damazy Tscherner struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nichifor Chivu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jebucu FCM. Cristian Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes, Balitesti's Francisc Dijmărescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pepito Sócrates came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Balitesti reached it. In the 89th minute Petre Neacșu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepito Sócrates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jebucu FCM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
