Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Șerban Niculcea made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Șerban Cordescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Șerban Lozovan. Hreatca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Șerban Cordescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. steluta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Niculae Crăiță scored to the left of an out of position Vintilă Porumbescu, making the score, 1-1. Vlad Tâlvescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Lozovan having to interfere. Șerban Lozovan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Tâlvescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Lozovan came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by steluta's Șerban Cordescu. But to his dismay, Șerban Cordescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hreatca's goalkeeper Șerban Lozovan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Gică Panțuru made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hreatca's Șerban Lozovan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes of play, steluta's Alex Bugariu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Lozovan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristide Bobariu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vintilă Porumbescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gică Panțuru to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alex Bugariu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Șerban Lozovan, 1-5. steluta's Vintilă Porumbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Bobariu in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to steluta getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gigi Doman hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, steluta's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Niculcea came free, but Vintilă Porumbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vlad Tâlvescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Bobariu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Șerban Lozovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlad Tâlvescu in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, steluta's Alex Bugariu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Șerban Lozovan. Șerban Lozovan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Șerban Lozovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gică Panțuru's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Șerban Lozovan came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by steluta's Vlad Tâlvescu. But to his dismay, Vlad Tâlvescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-8 when Gică Panțuru sped through Hreatca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Șerban Lozovan. Șerban Cordescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Lozovan having to interfere. steluta's Vintilă Porumbescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Maghiran in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match David Pătran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vintilă Porumbescu skillfully saved the ball. steluta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
