The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Burghelea during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Liviu Burghelea scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Iulian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 minutes of play, Sumita's Dragoş Dragnea made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Iulian was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Urleasca's Horia Ţintă got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Octavian Steriopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Iulian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Burghelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Steriopol might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Kolano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavian Steriopol ran back to his position shaking his head. Dragoş Dragnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Iulian having to interfere. After the first half Sumita were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Dragoş Dragnea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Sumita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Dobrotă to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Octavian Steriopol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urleasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Steriopol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Kolano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Liviu Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolae Cezar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Sumita's Dragoş Dragnea was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Sumita's Ştefan Răzvan got a free kick in the 80th minute. Octavian Steriopol struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Edward Kolano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urleasca. Liviu Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Iulian having to interfere. Sumita played a much better game than Urleasca and deserved their victory. The Urleasca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
