Spectators: 7352 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Liviu Burghelea started the match with the kick off. Liviu Burghelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Caita FC's zone, Dragoş Dragnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Dragu came out of the goal and Dragoş Dragnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Caita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Burghelea came free, but Edgar Dragu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dragoş Dragnea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sumita's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragoş Dragnea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Dragu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Dragu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoş Dragnea's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Caita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Burghelea came free, but Edgar Dragu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caita FC's Edgar Dragu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Burghelea in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Caita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Burghelea came free, but Edgar Dragu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Caita FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Basarab Scorţea hit a great ball. Pompiliu Ungur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Dragu came out and tried to block the shot, but Pompiliu Ungur slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, Sumita's Basarab Tătaru got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With his leg Edgar Dragu managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Sumita's Liviu Burghelea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dragoş Dragnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Dragu having to interfere. If Dragoş Dragnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liviu Burghelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Edgar Dragu made a huge save. Liviu Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Dragu having to interfere. Dragoş Dragnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicu Duldurescu's late challenge caught a Sumita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicu Duldurescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Caita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Duldurescu to maneuver through the defense. Liviu Burghelea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Sumita's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sorin Măndica in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Kolano saved Sumita from getting behind. If Liviu Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sumita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
