Spectators: 7352 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicu Duldurescu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, FC RACM MD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Gheordunescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC RACM MD's zone, Sorin Măndica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Ciordaș came out of the goal and Sorin Măndica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Ciordaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sorin Măndica in the 18th minute. Edgar Dragu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remus Movileanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Movileanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Dragu having to interfere. Edgar Dragu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Movileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mihai Cîrțu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Cîrțu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Caita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Cîrțu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC RACM MD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mihai Decuseară hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Nicu Duldurescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Ciordaș. The goal made the score 1-0. Edgar Dragu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Movileanu in the 35th minute of the match. Mihai Decuseară fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Dragu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Decuseară in the 38th minute of play forced Caita FC's goalkeeper Edgar Dragu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Decuseară struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edgar Dragu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RACM MD. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Leonard Ciordaș successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Caita FC's Sorin Măndica got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicu Duldurescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Caita FC's goalkeeper Edgar Dragu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Decuseară. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Alexandru Ţiriac put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caita FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for FC RACM MD. Lucrețiu Răzvan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edgar Dragu. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Remus Movileanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC RACM MD's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Movileanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Dragu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Caita FC's Edgar Dragu got control of the ball when Mihai Decuseară tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC RACM MD booed when Caita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Cîrțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes, FC RACM MD's Lucrețiu Răzvan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgar Dragu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC RACM MD reached it. Mihai Decuseară received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edgar Dragu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Cătălin Turcu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caita FC and the FC RACM MD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Caita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Turcu to maneuver through the defense. 99 minutes into the match, Sorin Măndica notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC RACM MD's Leonard Ciordaș. Leonard Ciordaș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC RACM MD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
