Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC RACM MD's Remus Movileanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After recieving a nice pass, Sumita's Pompiliu Ungur tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Burghelea in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Ciordaș saved FC RACM MD from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dragoş Dragnea got free with Leonard Ciordaș in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 minutes, Liviu Burghelea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumita and the FC RACM MD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Sumita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Burghelea to maneuver through the defense. Mihai Decuseară sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Ciordaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dragoş Dragnea in the 22nd minute. FC RACM MD's Leonard Ciordaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Burghelea in the 25th minute of play. FC RACM MD's Leonard Ciordaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC RACM MD from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC RACM MD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Daniel Drâmbă hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Dragoş Dragnea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Ciordaș. The goal made the score 1-0. Liviu Burghelea had several of the FC RACM MD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Leonard Ciordaș as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Sumita's Liviu Burghelea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonard Ciordaș. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. Liviu Burghelea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Leonard Ciordaș made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Burghelea to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Dragoş Dragnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Ciordaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Dragoş Dragnea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dragoş Dragnea took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Ciordaș. Leonard Ciordaș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Liviu Burghelea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ferdinand Dinculescu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dragoş Dragnea struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Leonard Ciordaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumita. After having played for 76 minutes, Dragoş Dragnea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sumita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragoş Dragnea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Kolano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Movileanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Basarab Tătaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonard Ciordaș skillfully saved the ball. After 84 minutes, Dragoş Dragnea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumita and the FC RACM MD players grew even worse after the yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, FC RACM MD's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Dobrotă came free, but Leonard Ciordaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Liviu Burghelea, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Leonard Ciordaș was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, FC RACM MD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Răzvan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC RACM MD getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dan Petrea hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Dragoş Dragnea put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Leonard Ciordaș. Dragoş Dragnea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Ciordaș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. There was no doubt that Sumita were the better team. Sumita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
