Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 149) Olimpiu Dicu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Mavrodin in the 4th minute of play forced Ceramic fc's goalkeeper Tiberiu Zbârnea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorin Izvoranu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Izvoranu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ceramic fc getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sorin Izvoranu hit a great ball. Tiberiu Zbârnea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Dicu in the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Dănănae during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Ceramic fc got a freekick which was hit by Doru Dănănae. Ceramic fc's Tiberiu Zbârnea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Mavrodin in the 12th minute of play. Leonard Malcoci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dan Huidu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olimpiu Dicu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Zbârnea. Tiberiu Zbârnea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th minute Olimpiu Dicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Zbârnea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceramic fc's Tiberiu Zbârnea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Milcu in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olimpiu Dicu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiberiu Zbârnea saved Ceramic fc from getting behind. In the 29th minute Olimpiu Dicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Zbârnea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RaPiD fCrB's Dan Huidu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Izvoranu in the 33rd minute of play. Doru Coraș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basarab Gherase received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Huidu came out and tried to block the shot, but Basarab Gherase slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. When Eric Milcu fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RaPiD fCrB's protests and gave Eric Milcu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RaPiD fCrB's Eric Milcu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Tiberiu Zbârnea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olimpiu Dicu went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half RaPiD fCrB were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sorin Izvoranu was the one to do the kick off. Lucian Lazăr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Zbârnea having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Dicu in the 56th minute of play forced Ceramic fc's goalkeeper Tiberiu Zbârnea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, RaPiD fCrB's Cazimir Mavrodin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Ceramic fc's Doru Dănănae got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Doru Dănănae off the ground. In the 62nd minute, Doru Dănănae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Olimpiu Dicu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiberiu Zbârnea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Leonard Malcoci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, RaPiD fCrB's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Izvoranu came free, but Dan Huidu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Albert Gârdescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RaPiD fCrB and the Ceramic fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olimpiu Dicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Zbârnea having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Tiberiu Zbârnea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Cazimir Mavrodin came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the RaPiD fCrB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cazimir Mavrodin couldn't finish the play. Leonard Malcoci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dan Huidu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to RaPiD fCrB getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cazimir Mavrodin hit a great ball. Dan Huidu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Malcoci, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Tiberiu Zbârnea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cazimir Mavrodin in the 95th minute. Albert Gârdescu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Ceramic fc's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Dicu came free, but Tiberiu Zbârnea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
