With a little luck, Pisculesti AFC's Constantin Ichimescu got control of the ball when Ion Dorlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Pisculesti AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Emanuel Baran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Stoicănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Ferenț was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Vali Drâmba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Baran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Chioreanu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sandu Marinas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Emanuel Baran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mugurel Amandiței fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Ichimescu having to interfere. Ion Dorlea struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Constantin Ichimescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aronesti. 76 minutes into the match, Aronesti's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Drâmba came free, but Emanuel Baran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Ichimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Dorlea in the 78th minute of the match. Vali Drâmba might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Baran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vali Drâmba ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantin Ichimescu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Aronesti's Dacian Ferenț. But to his dismay, Dacian Ferenț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gigi Stoicănescu scored 2-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Baran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
