Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dacian Ferenț kicked off to start the match. Ernest Vrabie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emanuel Baran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fc Viitorul defense, Ion Dorlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Maniu. The Fc Viitorul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Maniu should have stopped the shot. When Ernest Vrabie came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Fc Viitorul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Vrabie couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Buceceanu in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Baran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Fc Viitorul's Gheorghe Maniu got control of the ball when Ion Dorlea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Fc Viitorul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Mârzac to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Aronesti's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Buceceanu came free, but Emanuel Baran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Baran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Buceceanu in the 30th minute of play. Adrian Buceceanu scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Baran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Fc Viitorul's Marius Niță got a free kick in the 36th minute. Fc Viitorul were furious when Adam Pisculescu was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Fc Viitorul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aronesti:s goal. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Aronesti. Radu Goiceanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gheorghe Maniu. 2-1.
The wind increased when Ernest Vrabie made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, George Boșneag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Viitorul and the Aronesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, Aronesti's Ion Dorlea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gheorghe Maniu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ernest Vrabie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Viitorul's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Vrabie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Baran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fc Viitorul's George Boșneag got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Ion Dorlea notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Fc Viitorul's Gheorghe Maniu. Gheorghe Maniu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ion Dorlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fc Viitorul's Adam Mârzac got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Dorlea in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gheorghe Maniu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernest Vrabie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ernest Vrabie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Viitorul's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Vrabie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Baran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Maniu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Dorlea in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Dacian Ferenț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Aronesti's Ion Dorlea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gheorghe Maniu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Aronesti were victorious despite being under pressure from Fc Viitorul for much of the match.
