Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adam Trifănucă started the match with the kick off. FC Alcool TBC's Flavius Condrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Trifănucă in the 5th minute of play. Virgil Olariu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Marcu Panciu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavius Condrea. FC Alcool TBC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Mircea Arseni came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Alcool TBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mircea Arseni couldn't finish the play. Mircea Arseni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Zbanţ having to interfere. Horaţiu Bran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Nistor Zbanţ managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when FC Alcool TBC's Mircea Arseni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, FC Alcool TBC's Mircea Arseni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nistor Zbanţ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Virgil Olariu came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Alcool TBC fans jumped to their feet. Nistor Zbanţ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 36 minutes into the game, Eliodor Muncelean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Flavius Condrea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 41 minutes into the game, Mircea Arseni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Nistor Zbanţ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mircea Arseni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nistor Zbanţ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mircea Arseni to make the kick off. If Ferdinand Zotincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Mircea Arseni put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nistor Zbanţ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Arseni in the 64th minute of play forced Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Zbanţ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Arseni in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Zbanţ saved Steaua Baia Mare -MM- from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s Radu Oproiu got a free kick in the 70th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Ferdinand Zotincă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alcool TBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Zotincă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC Alcool TBC's Flavius Condrea got control of the ball when Paul Baldovin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nistor Zbanţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Arseni in the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Iulian Pamfil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mircea Arseni managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Alcool TBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Arseni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Zbanţ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mircea Arseni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes, FC Alcool TBC's Dumitru Nedelea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nistor Zbanţ came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Alcool TBC reached it. Horaţiu Bran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Zbanţ having to interfere.
