Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 100) CS UZU's Florin Brăescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vlad Topală fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Zbanţ having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Florin Brăescu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Florin Brăescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Nistor Zbanţ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlad Topală received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nistor Zbanţ came out and tried to block the shot, but Vlad Topală slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. The supporters of CS UZU booed when Steaua Baia Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Pamfil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Zbanţ made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Florin Brăescu sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Vlad Topală's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Zbanţ was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Zbanţ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Lundin. 26 minutes into the match, CS UZU's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Trifănucă came free, but Vassilis Karapitsios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CS UZU's Mihnea Muntean got a free kick in the 26th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lundin came free, but Nistor Zbanţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Zbanţ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Topală in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Zbanţ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Rareș Aluchei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in CS UZU's zone, George Fundătoreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Karapitsios came out of the goal and George Fundătoreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adam Trifănucă made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Topală in the 54th minute of play forced Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Zbanţ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Vlad Topală had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Zbanţ. Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vlad Topală was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Steaua Baia Mare -MM- booed when CS UZU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Hațegan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Brăescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Florin Brăescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS UZU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Brăescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florin Brăescu struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Nistor Zbanţ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CS UZU. 75 minutes into the match, Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Florin Brăescu came free, but Nistor Zbanţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, CS UZU's Vlad Topală nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nistor Zbanţ made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Florin Brăescu came free, but Nistor Zbanţ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, CS UZU's Vlad Topală made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nistor Zbanţ was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Florin Brăescu notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Steaua Baia Mare -MM-'s Nistor Zbanţ. Nistor Zbanţ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nistor Zbanţ came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by CS UZU's Vlad Topală. But to his dismay, Vlad Topală quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. CS UZU's Mihnea Muntean got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Steaua Baia Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Muncelean. CS UZU walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
