After having played for 22 minutes, Lucrețiu Macarie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cichirdicu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Macarie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stelian Enceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Macarie in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Fabian Mușat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelian Enceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucrețiu Macarie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelian Enceanu came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Macarie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mihăiţă Rușanu fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meseriasii's protests and gave Mihăiţă Rușanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Meseriasii getting a freekick after 63 minutes play.
