Vasile Covrig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brusturoasa's Mugur Buzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Brusturoasa from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes of play, CF Pikisski's Vasile Covrig made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mugur Buzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augustin Măndica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidiu Stroe in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, CF Pikisski's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ferenț came free, but Augustin Măndica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brusturoasa's Mugur Buzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Brusturoasa from getting a goal against them. After 28 played minutes CF Pikisski got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Moți. With a little luck, Brusturoasa's Mugur Buzea got control of the ball when Sergiu Tastaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Vasile Covrig came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CF Pikisski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasile Covrig couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasile Covrig made a kick off. When Bela Marquina came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the CF Pikisski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bela Marquina couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute Sergiu Tastaman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Buzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, David Ghimiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Augustin Măndica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bela Marquina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Buzea having to interfere. Vasile Covrig charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Covrig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brusturoasa booed when CF Pikisski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Covrig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes of play CF Pikisski's Vasile Covrig was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 74th minute, Vasile Covrig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, CF Pikisski's goalkeeper Augustin Măndica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Ghimiș. After a rather tough play, CF Pikisski's Denis Neculce got a free kick in the 87th minute. CF Pikisski's Augustin Măndica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save CF Pikisski from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes CF Pikisski got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Tybo.
