Felix Voican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Panescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Iliuță in the 16th minute of the match. Marcu Sima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Voican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Scoreiul's Octavian Protase ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcu Sima. Marcu Sima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Octavian Protase managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scoreiul's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavian Protase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcu Sima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Moise Boldur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragoş Panescu. Scoreiul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Boldur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Felix Voican who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Marcu Sima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iurie Iliuță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dragoş Panescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Protase to make the kick off. When Scoreiul's Felix Voican in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marcu Sima guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Moise Boldur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragoş Panescu having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Octavian Protase's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcu Sima was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Felix Voican made a precise shot to the right of Marcu Sima. Soimu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Moise Boldur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soimu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
