Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexandru Onișoru kicked off to start the match. Elano Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dinamo1867's Cristian Calboreanu got control of the ball when Alexandru Onișoru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Vasile Staicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Papaiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandru Onișoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cristian Calboreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Alexandru Onișoru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabin Eftimiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Calboreanu having to interfere. Basarab Măgură hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alexandru Onișoru struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cristian Calboreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sibiu FCM. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Puszynski got free with Cristian Calboreanu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Staicu was the one to do the kick off. Elano Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Staicu helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Dinamo1867 got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Staicu. Cristian Calboreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Onișoru in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Sibiu FCM's Alexandru Onișoru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Calboreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Doru Doinaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Alexandru Onișoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cristian Calboreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Pană during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Ion Pană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Alexandru Onișoru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ilie Epure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilie Epure blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristian Calboreanu having to make a save. Sibiu FCM's Alexandru Onișoru got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sibiu FCM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
