Cerbu AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Enceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Martinaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornel Aursulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Martinaș having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Cerbu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Stolniciu. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrosesti CSS's zone, Marin Enceanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mădălin Martinaș came out of the goal and Marin Enceanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
