Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) FC TIM's Nechifor Cordescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC TIM's Eliodor Dragnea got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 minutes FC TIM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gică Hulubei who took care of the corner kick. FC TIM's Eduard Lupescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Archiudean in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Ovidiu Vulcan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stancilova's Lucian Pârvuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucian Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Cristi Flamaropol took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Pârvuță. Lucian Pârvuță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, FC TIM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Bociort to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Pârvuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Vulcan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lucian Pârvuță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucian Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Dragnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Gugulanu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Cristi Flamaropol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Cordescu in the 38th minute of play forced Stancilova's goalkeeper Lucian Pârvuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narcis Târban's late challenge caught a Stancilova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narcis Târban helped the player get up and apologised. Eduard Lupescu went to the wrong direction when Gică Hulubei was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 45 minutes, Vintilă Şimandan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stancilova and the FC TIM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stancilova getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Vintilă Şimandan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radu Bădoi got free with Eduard Lupescu in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half FC TIM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cristi Flamaropol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Pârvuță having to interfere. Lucian Pârvuță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Vulcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Vlad Bociort managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC TIM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlad Bociort was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Stancilova's goalkeeper Lucian Pârvuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Dragnea. A collision led to Stancilova getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vintilă Şimandan hit a great ball. Lucian Pârvuță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Dragnea in the 69th minute. Narcis Târban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucian Pârvuță came out and tried to block the shot, but Narcis Târban slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. In the 73rd play minute Cristi Flamaropol came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lucian Pârvuță. 0-4. Ovidiu Vulcan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Lucian Pârvuță when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Radu Bădoi scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Lupescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC TIM's Eliodor Dragnea got a free kick in the 87th minute. Eduard Lupescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Archiudean in the 89th minute of play. When Vintilă Şimandan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Stancilova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Şimandan couldn't finish the play. Cristi Flamaropol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96thth minute of the game Nechifor Cordescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stancilova's Lucian Pârvuță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC TIM played a much better game than Stancilova and deserved their victory. The Stancilova players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
