Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gică Cornoiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rareș Fărcașu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Potocianu went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute, Ejder Kutal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilian Mîțu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Ezureni's goalkeeper Rareș Fărcașu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Potocianu. After 16 played minutes Ezureni got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Hrebenciuc. Rareș Fărcașu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gică Cornoiu in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cristur's goalkeeper Emilian Mîțu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ejder Kutal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emilian Mîțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Constantin Potocianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Fărcașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Potocianu in the 28th minute. If Ejder Kutal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodor Gurgui kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Constantin Potocianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emilian Mîțu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Mantoiu's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Adrian Mantoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Mîțu having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Adrian Mantoiu made the kick off in the second half. Adrian Mantoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Emilian Mîțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Mîțu having to interfere. Gică Cornoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rareș Fărcașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantin Potocianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Adrian Mantoiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Mîțu was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 79th minute Constantin Potocianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rareș Fărcașu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Constantin Potocianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cristur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantin Potocianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ezureni were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Cristur's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aron Stolniceanu took the corner. The corner ended in Aron Stolniceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cristur's Emilian Mîțu did a great save. The supporters of Ezureni booed when Cristur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sbârcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Potocianu took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rareș Fărcașu. Rareș Fărcașu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Cristur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
