Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Druță got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Bucutesti's zone, Martin Isărescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugurel Arapașu came out of the goal and Martin Isărescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Rapid Bucutesti's Leonard Şerban got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, Alex Druță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Ciupe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Rapid Bucutesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC MiDeea:s goal. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, AC MiDeea's Augustin Pârvulescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mugurel Arapașu. 22 minutes into the game, Daniel Șora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. George Ciupe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nicu Isaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Alex Druță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Ciupe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Chindriș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugurel Arapașu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Isărescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 39 minute of play. If Alex Druță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Chindriș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Rapid Bucutesti got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Bercea. Eugen Chindriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mugurel Arapașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastian Papadima came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the AC MiDeea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Papadima couldn't finish the play. George Ciupe was a little too slow when Petru Bîlbă got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-3. 79 minutes into the game, Iordache Rioşanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapid Bucutesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC MiDeea the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Druță in the 87th minute of play forced AC MiDeea's goalkeeper George Ciupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, AC MiDeea's George Ciupe got control of the ball when Petru Bîlbă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rapid Bucutesti's Mugurel Arapașu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Pârvulescu in the 94th minute of play. Martin Isărescu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Mugurel Arapașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC MiDeea. 98 minutes into the game, Martin Isărescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Mugurel Arapașu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the AC MiDeea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
