In the 23rd minute Deivid Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Zoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Deivid Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Duleul AS's protests and gave Marin Marghescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Geeks booed when Duleul AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Marghescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Daraban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezar Buceceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Duleul AS were victorious despite being under pressure from The Geeks for much of the match.
