Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristi Niculescu got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Baila's zone, Cristi Niculescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Zbereanu came out of the goal and Cristi Niculescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Augustin Gioagă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Baila's Nistor Zbereanu got control of the ball when Mugur Asachi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Baila's Iustinian Ababei got a free kick in the 11th minute. Dacian Beligan, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Baila getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Silviu Brănet hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Baila's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Niculescu came free, but Nistor Zbereanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Gavanu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Chevereșan. After 17 played minutes, Baila's Sebastian Piţurcă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manuel Iovanovici came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baila reached it. Augustin Gioagă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Manuel Iovanovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Gioagă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristi Niculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Claudiu Dumitru fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavanu AFC's protests and gave Claudiu Dumitru a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gavanu AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudiu Dumitru hit a great ball. The corner ended in Sebastian Piţurcă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gavanu AFC's Manuel Iovanovici did a great save. Manuel Iovanovici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Gioagă in the 33rd minute of the match. Mugur Asachi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Zbereanu having to interfere. Nistor Zbereanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Niculescu in the 36th minute of the match. Nistor Zbereanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristi Niculescu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The supporters of Gavanu AFC booed when Baila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Ababei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Zbereanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Niculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Cristi Niculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Gioagă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nistor Zbereanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Niculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Mugur Asachi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavanu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Asachi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nistor Zbereanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Niculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Cristi Niculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Mugur Asachi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavanu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mugur Asachi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristi Niculescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nistor Zbereanu having to make a save. After 77 minutes of play Baila's Iustinian Ababei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 79 played minutes Dacian Beligan shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Baila's Nistor Zbereanu to catch but Dacian Beligan was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The supporters of Baila booed when Gavanu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Chevereșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Baila defense, Cristi Niculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nistor Zbereanu. The Baila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nistor Zbereanu should have stopped the shot. Mugur Asachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nistor Zbereanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes, Cristi Niculescu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Baila's Nistor Zbereanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gavanu AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
