Nicolae Zgabei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th match minute, Vizirul CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Crivoi to maneuver through the defense. Calin Olarus short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Nicolae Zgabei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Calin Olaru did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Nicolae Zgabei 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Calin Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC RAPID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calin Olaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Calin Olaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolae Zgabei was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Calin Olaru in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 78th minute Leonard Casian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Zgabei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vizirul CF's goalkeeper Nicolae Zgabei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vizirul CF's Luca Crivoi got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, FC RAPID's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Sângeorzan came free, but Calistrat Cazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
