After having played for 42 minutes, Carl Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maxinesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Tilincă got free with Florin Nicolcioiu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florin Nicolcioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Johnson in the 72nd minute of play. Florin Nicolcioiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Balint in the 73rd minute of the match. If Codrin Ciungu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Nicolcioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Balint in the 78th minute of play. Florin Nicolcioiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Tilincă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Tilincă in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Nicolcioiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Tilincă in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Nicolcioiu saved United 1906 from getting behind. United 1906's Codrin Ciungu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Codrin Ciungu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Donzel having to interfere. Maxinesti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
